Carole Lombard wed Clark Gable
at the Methodist church in Kingman in 1939. The newlyweds honeymooned in
Oatman at the Oatman Hotel.
Just short of their third anniversary, Carole was killed in a
plane crash into Table Rock Mountain, Nevada returning from a tour to sell
war bonds.
